i run multiple lobby servers for my network. On that servers players will be teleported after login to different but defined locations (last logout point, saved in database for availability across multiple servers, loaded async). The current problem is that every time when a player joins he will be telported to his last location which can be in a chunk which is not loaded. When that happens, the whole server “lags” for 2-3 seconds.
But this don’t appears for the spawn chunks, I’ve seen that there are pre-loaded and kept in memory.
What would be the best solution? Can I preload the Chunks for these 5 defined locations which have a very small radius?
