Hello, I am new to running a minecraft server and I noticed my minecraft server is unable to start due to a Java Illegal Exception. I don’t know what this means, I would like to know why it crashes, and a solution to prevent this from happening again.

At the time of this issue, it runs on Minecraft Java 1.8.8 PaperMC. I noticed it after switching “online-mode” to true in “server,properties” The server was offline before I edited the files. I use Sparked Host to host my server. I looked up topics similar to this but I couldn’t find any ones that match. I found a fix somewhere that wanted a user to delete the user cache file, but that did not fix this problem.

Why are you using 1.8?

Server only has 512 megabytes of RAM.

Most probably your world, entities or such is corrupt. The error is about NBTs. Maybe try on a fresh server.
