Spawner out of player range

Hello! I’ve got a small server (1.16.1) that I play on with a couple of my friends. Recently we managed to find a skeleton spawner, so we decided to make an XP farm with it. The issue is that when I go down to the room where the skeletons are supposed to drop into, they stop falling down because the spawner gets out of player range and stops spawning. I’ve checked all of the .yml files, but I wasn’t able to find any setting that would increase the range. Is there any way to increase this range?

The spawning range is set in the NBT data of the spawner tile entity. You can go up to the spawner and run some variation of the /data command to change it.

If you far away from Spawner more than 8 block. It will not activated
