New User trying to move vanilla minecraft world to paper

Im a new user I just got paper minecraft server running. However I would like to move my world from my previous server to paper. How do I go about it?

This is fairly easy process to do, so don’t worry about being a new user!

  1. If you have world folders already in your servers directory, these are usually called world, world_nether and world_the_end, delete those.

  2. Move the old world files into the servers directory

NOTE, if the name of the world you are moving is not called world you will need to do these extra steps

  1. Open the server.properties file

  2. look for the line level-name and change it to the name of world
