Is it going to be worth investing in a dedicated server?

At about 30 players online, my server can start to drop TPS. When I hit 50 players online, my server can drop to about 13 TPS.

I have optimised entities as much as I can, and I don’t ever want to use a chunk border, so chunk loading is the biggest issue for me (about 50% of lag).

I feel that the server is as optimised as possible, although with more and more players playing the server, I need a way to keep up.

I’m currently on a 12gb plan with Humbleservers, using a Ryzen 9 5900X with 6 virtual cores.

If I want a performance boost, would it actually be any better to invest in a dedicated server (something like Bisect’s https://www.bisecthosting.com/dedicated.php)? Or would I not see much performance improvement seeming it’s still run on a single core CPU?

Here’s my latest timings report: https://timings.aikar.co/?id=f14321c97f5147e5a5cd860feae28f33

Lower your server.properties view distance and use papers no-tick viewdistance

Both are set to 4.

Just bumping this to see if I would actually get a decent performance boost from a dedicated server, seeming it’s going to be twice the price each month.

I think it’s worth it, but be carefull with the cpu, so it need to have less cores but higher clock speeds per core
Also the Os is a really huge factor too
