I have a TPS drop issue in the server. When 4-6 and sometimes 7-10 people play at the same time it gets lagging a lot. I know that 1.13-1.14 versions are having issues with chunck loading ,but is there any way to make it less laggy ? I’m using several plugins and one datapack ,but it looks like they don’t give that much lag ,but idk I’m a rookie at these things and maybe I am wrong. Here is my timings : https://timings.aikar.co/?id=d0c9020cbf1741cf8c22bb5c7525ccd2
Maybe this is related. I see this warning a lot. This appears every few minutes:
[10:48:25 WARN]: Can't keep up! Is the server overloaded? Running 9809ms or 196 ticks behind
[10:49:11 WARN]: Can't keep up! Is the server overloaded? Running 5105ms or 102 ticks behind
Yes ,this is the case for me too.
[14:02:45 WARN]: Can’t keep up! Is the server overloaded? Running 31160ms or 623 ticks behind
[14:03:45 WARN]: Can’t keep up! Is the server overloaded? Running 29957ms or 599 ticks behind
I have no plugins installed. So is this a bug in the most recent paper version?
This is an issue with 1.14.x as a whole (and part of the reason why we have several notices on the 1.14.x release info stating that these builds are still… yea…)
So right now if people want a better perfomance in their servers they have to make their own dedicated personal servers with decent cpu power (because minecraft is a single core game)
Ok. So this sounds like this will never be fixed because it has its roots in 1.14 core. Am I right?
